t(11;14)(q13.2;q32)(MYEOV,IGH)
Active
Description
Probes specific for MYEOV/IGH t(11;14)(q13.2;q32) are used to detect the reciprocal translocation commonly associated with multiple myeloma (MM) and resulting in an up-regulation of cyclin D1 (CCND1). The MYEOV gene is 360 kb from the CCND1 gene, which is also involved chromosomal rearrangements resulting in human cancers. Patients with MM who have t(11;14)(q13.2;q32) are predicted to have an aggressive clinical course. Source: Regenstrief LOINC
