Description
The HNA 2 system has one allele - HNA-2a, which is expressed only on subpopulations of neutrophils and neutrophil precursors (CD177). The expression of HNA-2a is greater in women than men. It is also greater in pregnant women than in healthy female donors. Source: Regenstrief LOINC
