Description

2,5-dimethoxy-N-(2-methoxybenzyl) phenethylamine (NBOMe) series of chemicals, including 25I-NBOMe, 2C-C-NBOMe and 25H-NBOMe, are highly potent hallucinogenic phenethylamine derivatives, primarily N-o-methoxybenzyl analogs of the 2C-X family of phenethylamines. They were first investigated as agonists for 5-HT2A (serotonin 2A) receptors associated with hallucinogenic activity. Most compounds in the NBOMe compounds are active at verly low sub-milligram doses. These chemicals have nearly no history of human use prior to 2010 when they first became available online with dosing recommendations similar to LSD.
