Description
Hyperchromia (or hyperchromasia) is an abnormal increase in the hemoglobin content of the erythrocytes. Hyperchromic RBCs have a decreased central pallor, but these cells are usually reported in morphological terms (as spherocytes). Source: Regenstrief LOINC
