Description

The score property represents two distinct entities: the result of a calculation and a specific answer from a scaled list of choices. The meaning of score in any given instance should be apparent based on the context of the term or component definition. For example, the geriatric depression score is an example of a calculation in which the total depression score is calculated based on the individual answers to 30 questions. In contrast, a pain severity score is an example of a specific answer from a scaled list, where the patient is asked to rate their pain on a scale of zero to ten, with zero representing no pain and ten being the most severe.
