Signal quality index
Active
Description
EEG signal quality index (SQI) reflects the quality of the EEG signal based on impedance measurement and is calculated at a particular moment in time based on measurements taken in the immediately preceding time period, such as 60 to 90 seconds. The signal quality is taken into account when calculating certain EEG variables, such as the bispectral index, and interpreting EEG results.
