Description
HLA DNA-based typing result is at the level of the digits comprising the first field in the DNA-based nomenclature. Examples include: A*01; A*02. The exception is B*15 in which low resolution is defined as a subset of alleles that might be considered as sharing a broad serologic type, either B15 or B70.
