Active
Description
The cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI) reflects the stiffness of the aorta, femoral and tibial arteries, may be a marker of coronary arteriosclerosis, and is theoretically not affected by blood pressure. It is calculated based on measurements from EKG, phonocardiogram, brachial artery waveform, and ankle artery waveform.
