Lesion end coordinates
Active
Description
The coronary artery branch, lesion or stent start and end segment positions specify a more precise location within a given segment, and the start and end coordinates specify the combined segment/segment position information. For example, in one model, each segment of the coronary artery, which segments are defined by the American Heart Association (AHA), is divided into ten parts, numbered 0 to 9. The start location of a specific branch, lesion or stent placement is represented as:
Start segment: {AHA segment name/number}
Start segment position: {0-9}
Start coordinates: {AHA segment name/number}-{position 0-9}
The lesion's end location is specified following the same format, as is the location of an additional branch in cases where a lesion is present at a significant artery bifurcation and which itself bifurcates.
