The Leu265Pro mutation in the myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MYD88) gene [HGNC Gene ID: 7562] is found in approximately 90% of patients with lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) and Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM), a type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
