Description
The spontaneous clot formation time (Tsp) is the time from the beginning of the assay to time at which the average area of spontaneous clots comprises at least five percent of the overall sample area. This clotting parameter characterizes clotting that is independent of the activator surface; under normal conditions, no spontaneous clotting is observed.
