Eutylone
Active
Description
Eutylone (hydrochloride) is categorized as a designer drug or substance of abuse. It has a similar structure to that of cathinones, amphetamines, and pyrovalerone. Synthetic cathinones cause amphetamine-like effects. They are mainly used for social purposes but are also used for their stimulant properties. Effects of synthetic cathinones depend on the individual, the dosage of drug administered and the route of administration but the primary effects which make them attractive are increased alertness, sociability, effectiveness in work, euphoria, intense physical and sensory pleasure and a decreased appetite. The most common adverse effects are cardiac and neurologic. PMID: 26074740 Source: Regenstrief LOINC
