Dothiepin (or dosulepin) is a tricyclic antidepressant marketed under the brand names Prothiaden, Dothep, Thaden, and Dopress. Dothiepin is used for the treatment of major depressive disorder and neuropathic pain. PMID: 2670509 Common side effects include dry mouth, drowsiness, tremor, hypotension, nausea and tachycardia. Dothiepin and its metabolites, such as nordothiepin and dothiepin sulfoxide (dothiepin S-oxide), are measured to evaluate drug toxicity. Source: Regenstrief LOINC
