Granular casts.fine
Active
Description
As the coarsely granular casts slowly pass on down the tubules, the cell degeneration continues until the granules are very fine. Thus, finely granular casts show a further degeneration of granules that have become much smaller in size than the coarse type. Since finely granular casts contain many minute granules, they are usually more opaque than simple hyaline casts. They are grey to pale yellow in color.
