Description
Chromosome region 4q25 g.111720761T>G (rs10033464) is one of the single nucleotide polymorphisms on chromosome region 4q25 that is associated with atrial fibrillation (AF). It is associated with recurrence of atrial arrhythmias after catheter ablation of AF as well as increased risk of cardioembolic stroke. This variant, along with rs2200733, is located near the PITX2 gene and is thought to play a role in regulation of PITX2 expression. PMID: 26005361 Source: Regenstrief LOINC
