Description
MT-45 is a new generation synthetic opioid with a piperidine structure (unrelated to most other opioids) that has appeared on recreational drug market. It is 3.5 times more potent than morphine and is found in mixtures such as "Wow" (with synthetic cathinones). MT-45 has been shown to cause physical dependence in mice, and adverse effects reported in humans include hair loss, dermatitis, elevated liver enzymes, cataracts, hearing loss and death PMID: 30634521.
