Description
The delayed type hypersensitivity skin test can be used to assess patients for a functioning cell-mediated immune response. Mumps antigen, tetanus toxoid, trichophytin, and Candida albicans are often employed as part of a battery to assess cell-mediated anergy, although individual laboratories may use different subsets of antigens PMID: 2822314.
