Version 2.80

Description

Aminoglycosides are a group of antibiotics that have commonly been used to treatment certain bacterial infections, especially those with gram-negative pathogens. Allergies to aminoglycosides develop infrequently, but can include cutaneous and systemic reactions. One study found that gentamicin had the most reported allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, followed by tobramycin and amikacin. PMID: 31470509 Source: Regenstrief LOINC
