Description

Antibodies to 17 alpha-Hydroxylase are found in patients with Addison's disease (AD), and in a subset of patients with AD, may predict the development of autoimmune premature ovarian failure (POF). Patients with isolated POF or POF that is associated with other autoimmune diseases are less likely to develop 17 alpha-Hydroxylase antibodies.
