Description
Autoimmune gastrointestinal dysmotility (AGID) is an autoimmune autonomic neuropathy that causes delayed stomach emptying and gastrointestinal transit. Symptoms include nausea or vomiting, constipation, weight loss, early satiety, and bloating. AGID is diagnosed through gastrointestinal motility studies and bloodwork to detect autoimmune markers.
