Description
Citrobacter koseri is a member of the genus Citrobacter which are Gram-negative bacteria in the Enterobacteriaceae family. It is often isolated from clinical specimens (urine, sputum, blood). It is known to cause significant opportunistic infections and has been associated with devastating neonatal meningitis and brain abscesses in neonates and immunocompromised individuals.
