Description
Stools, or feces, are comprised of water (approximately 75%), bacterial biomass, cells, and undigested carbohydrates, fiber, protein and fat. PMID: 26246784 Laboratory examination of feces (stool test) is performed to diagnose various conditions, to detect the presence of parasites, or to detect disease spreading bacteria.
