Description
Pupillary distance (interpupillary distance, binocular pupillary distance) is the distance between the midpoint of one pupil to the midpoint of the other pupil. Pupillary distance is helpful in diagnosing conditions with accommodation, stereo visual acuity, and convergence. It is also used in eye glass fittings.
