The LOINC Difference Report is found within the Accessory Files folder of each downloadable LOINC release. The PDF is a handy reference to the specific changes to LOINC terms as compared to the previous version. For example, the report included in version 2.83 is labeled “2.82 vs 2.83” indicating changes in the six primary LOINC Parts across these two versions. The pairs of Part columns show the changes from old to new. The changes have a yellow background so they can be easily identified.
The report is presented by Class and sorted by Component and then Property. Shown below is the first page of the report included in version 2.83.
