12.8 Using OIDs to identify LOINC artifacts
Regenstrief has established an object identifier (OID) for LOINC and numerous collections. In addition to the following, each LOINC Answer List code has a corresponding OID under the 1.3.6.1.4.1.12009.10.1 node. These identifiers can be found in the AnswerList.csv accessory file and via the LOINC Terminology Service.
