Congenital anomalies of the newborn diagnosed prenatally or after delivery. Malformations reported with this code included anencephaly, meningomyelocele/spina bifida, cyanotic congenital heart disease, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, omphalocele, gastroschisis, limb reduction defect, cleft lip/palate, Down syndrome, suspected chromosomal disorder, and hypospadias. More than one congenital anomaly may be reported.
