Interpretation of the total score for the neonatal pressure ulcer risk evaluation [LOINC: 73783-3]. A critical cut-off score of 5 on the NSRASĀ© was determined to indicate neonates are "at risk" for skin breakdown. At a score of 5, the scale was found to be 83% sensitive and 81% specific, with 50% predictive value of positive scores and 95% predictive value of negative scores.
