Term Description
Neonatal pressure ulcer risk total score is the cumulative value for each scored clinical condition parameter described in the Neonatal Skin Risk Assessment Scale (NSRAS). Neonates are at risk for skin breakdown (e.g. ulcers) if the total score is 16 or less.
