Term Description

The revised Geneva score is a clinical decision support tool for identifying the probability of a patient having pulmonary embolism (PE). It includes variables such as age, heart rate, signs and symptoms, and past medical history. The maximum total score is 22, and scores of 0-3, 4-10, and greater than 10 are associated with a low, intermediate, and high probability of PE, respectively. PMID: 17973649
