How do I reset my password?
If you have forgotten the password which corresponds to your LOINC username, go to loinc.org/forgot. The form will ask you to enter your username or email address. If located, it will email you a link to change your password.
When I log in to the LOINC.org website, how long will I remain logged in?
If you use your LOINC username and password to sign in to our website, you will stay logged in until:
- You close/exit your web browser
- Or, two days have passed from when you initially logged in
- Or, if you tick the “Remember me” checkbox at login, two weeks have passed.
Note: LOINC.org’s website authentication requires the use of Cookies within your browser, i.e. Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Changing the security/cookie storage settings within your browser may alter this behavior.
If you are using a public computer, we encourage you to log out and exit the web browser once you have completed your work.
