The Part Model displayed on details pages shows the collection of LOINC Parts which build the given LOINC concept.

To help visualize how Parts and sub Parts are used to build a LOINC term, we have added a section named Part Model to LOINC details pages.

The following excerpt of the details page for LOINC 20120-2 shows the Part Model with its subsections collapsed.

The Component value of LOINC 20120-2 is complex. The following excerpt shows the same Part Model with its Component sub-parts expanded. This illustrates how a Component can be exploded into its atomic parts.
