Term Description
Unstageable - Full thickness tissue loss in which the base of the ulcer is covered by slough (yellow, gray, green, or brown) or eschar (tan, brown, or black) in the wound bed. Include ulcers that are known or likely, but are not stageable due to non-removable dressing, device, cast or suspected deep tissue injury in evolution.
