Term Description

Swipes are large, abrupt, and fast shoulder movements in an up and backward direction. Movements are launched abruptly but conclude gradually. Swats are fast and powerful shoulder or hip movements with medium-large amplitude and abrupt onset/offset. They are directed down and forward. Distal joints are relatively immobile.
