Qualitative detection of nucleic acid sequences in Candida albicans DNA in positive blood culture specimens by target amplification and non-probe detection methods, such as melt curve analysis. This term was created for, but not limited in use to, the submitter's test kit, FilmArray Blood Culture Identification panel v2.
