Jaci Phillips

On Monday March 18, 2013 the world lost a heroic LOINCer when Jacqueline "Jaci" Phillips died after a two year battle with cancer.

Jaci not only became LOINC's assessment instrument rock star, but always showed her passion for excellence and infectious joy that helped make the world better—one standard code at a time.

LOINC was really Jaci's third career. She brought her knowledge and passion of 25+ years as a nurse, firefighter/EMT, and informatics specialist with her to Regenstrief to help build LOINC as an international standard for clinical data.

We are forever grateful for her contributions to LOINC.
