Term Description
This term is used to report either the sequence in which a specific coronary lesion was treated compared to the other lesions treated during the overall percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedure, or the sequence of procedures performed on a single coronary lesion, if more than one procedure was performed on that lesion. The context in which the term is used will more specifically define its meaning.

80730-5 Stenosis classification Coronary artery segment ACC-AHA
Part Descriptions
LP200257-6 Stenosis classification
Coronary artery stenosis is usually graded based on the classification developed by an American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association task force. Characteristics of Type A lesions include length <10 mm, a concentric pattern, little or no calcification, absence of thrombus, and no major branch involvement. Type B1 lesions are those that contain one type B characteristic, which characteristics include length 10-20 mm, eccentric pattern, moderate to heavy calcification, and the presence of some thrombus. Type B2 lesions contain two or more type B characteristics. Type C lesions are characterized by length >2 cm, extensive tortuosity of the proximal segment, extremely angulated segments, and total occlusion >3 months old. PMID: 2401060

LP190754-4 Stenosis degree
Stenosis is the degree of narrowing inside an artery that is typically caused by a build-up of material such as inflammatory cells, cholesterol crystals, or calcium deposits. A small degree of stenosis is usually asymptomatic, but more significant stenosis can lead to blockage of the artery or arteries, resulting in a number of conditions including angina, myocardial infarction, and stroke.

81000-2 TIMI grade Coronary artery segment --pre procedure
Part Descriptions
LP207943-4 TIMI grade
The TIMI classification describes coronary artery perfusion beyond the point of occlusion as seen on coronary angiography. It was developed by the Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) study group. The TIMI grades are described as follows: TIMI 0- failure of dye to enter the microvasculature beyond the point of occlusion; TIMI 1 - dye slowly enters and is seen as a faint antegrade coronary flow beyond the occlusion but fails to exit the microvasculature; TIMI 2 - delayed or sluggish antegrade flow with complete filling and exiting of the distal territory; and TIMI 3 - normal flow with complete filling and exiting of the distal territory.

80916-0 Coronary Lesion start segment
Part Descriptions
LP200296-4 Lesion start segment
The coronary artery branch, lesion or stent start and end segment positions specify a more precise location within a given segment, and the start and end coordinates specify the combined segment/segment position information. For example, in one model, each segment of the coronary artery, which segments are defined by the American Heart Association (AHA), is divided into ten parts, numbered 0 to 9. The start location of a specific branch, lesion or stent placement is represented as:
Start segment: {AHA segment name/number}
Start segment position: {0-9}
Start coordinates: {AHA segment name/number}-{position 0-9}
The lesion's end location is specified following the same format, as is the location of an additional branch in cases where a lesion is present at a significant artery bifurcation and which itself bifurcates.

80923-6 Coronary Bifurcated lesion end segment
Part Descriptions
LP200306-1 Bifurcated lesion end segment
The coronary artery branch, lesion or stent start and end segment positions specify a more precise location within a given segment, and the start and end coordinates specify the combined segment/segment position information. For example, in one model, each segment of the coronary artery, which segments are defined by the American Heart Association (AHA), is divided into ten parts, numbered 0 to 9. The start location of a specific branch, lesion or stent placement is represented as:
Start segment: {AHA segment name/number}
Start segment position: {0-9}
Start coordinates: {AHA segment name/number}-{position 0-9}
The lesion's end location is specified following the same format, as is the location of an additional branch in cases where a lesion is present at a significant artery bifurcation and which itself bifurcates.
