LOINC Conference Hosting Proposal

Submit your proposal to host an upcoming LOINC Conference

LOINC holds conference events twice per year. These three-day events combine public LOINC committee meetings with a day of presentations and training. We typically have one event in the United States in the spring with a second LOINC Conference outside the U.S. in the fall.

We welcome all proposals for hosting this one-of-a-kind LOINC event. Some criteria to keep in mind as we identify the ideal locations for these meetings:

Significant local or regional experience with LOINC
Location/country has been engaged in supporting the interests of the LOINC community
Easy access (i.e. good international airport, liberal visa policies with minimal/no cost for most countries, local public transportation)
Hotel/venue infrastructure suitable for hosting the events
Strong local hosting organization with a willingness to engage local resources

Indicate which dates you are proposing for a 3-day fall event outside the U.S.*
Describe transportation options, including costs, e.g. nearest airports, public transportation from airport to facility, transportation from facility to lodging, etc.*
Describe lodging options including estimated price per night, possible room block rates, etc.*
Describe available conference facilities (one large room and two breakout rooms are required for the event) and include room capacity, room configuration options, etc.*
List available room technology, e.g. audio/visual equipment, internet access, telephone conferencing, etc.*
Indicate options for food catering (breakfast and lunch are required for all three days)*
