What you need to know
We will review and select several proposals for inclusion during the LOINC Virtual Conference. We will notify selected participants at the end of January.
For this conference, we are again interested in expanding our sessions to include one or more panel discussions, which could include different stakeholder perspectives on the same theme, or a collective discussion about issues and lessons from different organizations of a similar kind (e.g. laboratories, ministries of health, IVD vendors, etc).
Keep in mind this event will cover LOINC's scope across laboratory and clinical domains, so we will feature a broad range of topics. At this time, we are not accepting presentations with commercial bias.
Presentations should be limited to 45 minutes to allow plenty of time for questions. There will also be time available to present updates and key issues for discussion at both the public Laboratory Committee and Clinical Committee meetings.
For a sampling of past workshops/presentations, please see the schedule for our virtual LOINC Conference in October 2020.
For your efforts, speakers will receive complimentary access to all presentations.
